| Bio: | Hi there. My name is Darren Mitton. I was born in Veedersburg, Indiana (a little one-stoplight town about ah hour west of Indianapolis and an hour hour north of Terre Haute, or 45 minutes south of Lafayette.I spent the first 18 years of my life growing up here, and was considered an odd child: my favorite activities were running wild in the woods(Can't tell I'm Pagan, can you?) or spending time voraciously reading books at the town library(little did my parents or anyone else know I was just reading everything I could about the occult..*grin*). I didn't get along with alot of the kids I went to school with("Are you a Satanist? Are you a queer?" Well, close and yes...), but the few friends I did have pretty much stuck with me through all of my days in school. I first went to college in Vincennes (IN), but was unsatisfied and moved to Danville (IL), where I changed my major over from Broadcasting to Psychology.I then moved to Attica (IN) and then to Williamsport, and settled in Crawfordsville working for a factory. In 1998, I moved to Terre Haute (IN) where I continued my education at Indiana State University in the field of Psychology and went to work for AOL/Aegis-Trilegent.It was there I met some of my greatest friends. In 2000, my father passed away..In that time I was dealing with some soul-searching, and moved up to Logansport (IN). While I was working in a factory up there, I was in an industrial accident which left me severely burned and I had to spend a month in the hospital, getting skin grafts and physical therapy. After that, I moved back to Terre Haute for an short while, and ended up moving down to Byron (GA). When my my mother died in December of 2002, I moved back up to Terre Haute and went back to work for AOL/Aegis-Trilegent. I bought a house, and really pulled the 9-to-5 racket.Well, the house ended up being a money pit that drove me into debt and left me homeless with no where to go. Some very good friends of mine (RIP Bert, I love you,bro) asked me to move down to Florida with them and I agreed. Unfortunately, my best friend passed away on the drive down, and after his funeral in Florida I moved back up to live with the family (David, Brian, Stevie & Buddha) that I was lucky enough to have in Byron (GA). I lived and worked there from February 2004 until January of 2006 when THE LAST CASTLE (a specialty retail outlet specializing in gaming RPGs, card games, comics, and anime) shut down. Soon thereafter, I moved up here to Atlanta, in with my friends Hal Doby and Charles Whitenberg. My (now) ex- came with, but soon moved out...So I began again. I moved up to the mountains in with a friend (Doug). I moved out after awhile, but we stayed good friends. I love it here.
I'm 33, 5 foot-10inches, I have mutton chops and a moustache, 160 lbs soaking wet, brown hair, grey eyes.... Have 4 tattoos: a "13" over my heart, a "Misfits" skull over my right bicep, a fetus over my left bicep, and an outline of a grizzly sporting a shotgun and hunting vest on my belly, which sorely needs fixed after the industrial-accident.. I'm a relatively laidback person, yet at the same time hyperkinetic when busy. I have been known to be an androphile, nymphomaniac also..I have a decidedly demented sense of humor (my family would say it borders on morbid)..I'm a Sagittarius, which is obvious if you're around me for awhile.... My hobbies include Film (particularly scifi and horror),comic books, reading (I love Poe, Lovecraft, Heinlein, Bradbury, Asimov, and so many more than I can name here),gaming (RPGs-Call Of Cthulhu,D&D,CyberPunk,GURPS,etc) and music (every style, but not every musician..) Politics? S'pose I'd be a Libertarian.The less government, the better..I don't care what you do, just don't do it to me or mine... Religion?
