uhm... some of these things sound like good things, maybe? I get so confused with the way they word these damn things, though, and i could be horribly wrong (the social security protection act sounds good, so does data accountability and trust, but then i suppose so did the patriot act :\). and some of these... it says amendments, but there are lots of ways to amend things, and they could be benefical. and some of these are just damn confusing... eminent domain for the construction of electrical powerlines? i thought they already had that? gah. politics hurt my head. is there some place where this is explain in plain english? i want to be more involved, but i'm afraid my mental faculties are not up to it.

The easiest way to go about it is: the ones that SOUND the most helpful will be the most horribly abused! LOL

Seriously, the SS-protection act will strip more money away from social-services , the data-accountability and trust act takes more power AWAY from the people and puts it in the hands of whichever party is not currently in control (Republican way of overturning Democrat decisions), eminent-domain means they have the right to seize anyone's property at any time..

This is another way of them stripping citizens rights for more control..
